The VIII Kuñangue Aty Guasu, the annual meeting of the Guarani & Kaiowá indigenous women’s council, was held online this year, and translated into English in real time.

Guarani and Kaiowá female elders and Ñandesys (shamans) participated from the safety of their villages, discussing the issues that concern them and sharing them to a global audience.

The event will took place over three days, including opening ceremonies led by the female shamans, and a series of panel discussions focussing on key issues.
