ATL 2022| 18th Edition of the Free Land Camp  from 4th to 8th of april

The Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (Apib) informs that the indigenous mobilizations during the month of April are confirmed. And our biggest mobilization, the  Acampamento Terra Livre (ATL), is scheduled to take place between April 4 and 8, 2022, in Brasília, in the Federal District.

The indigenous April is one of the main references of popular mobilization in democratic times. We are the biggest mobilization of the indigenous movement. In this 18th Edition of Acampamento Terra Livre — ATL, in 2022, we remain mobilized with the commitment to fight for the life and territories of indigenous peoples, occupying Brasília to claim our rights guaranteed by the 1988 Constitution.

Our leaders and organizations are mobilizing from the villages and territories, ensuring all health and safety care for yet another historic action by the Brazilian indigenous movement.

Follow @apiboficial and our regional indigenous grassroots organizations to strengthen the struggle of indigenous peoples: @apoinme_brasil | @coiabamazonia | @arpinsulindigenas | @cons.terena | @atyguasu | @yvyrupa.cgy | @arpin_sudeste

Camp “A struggle for life”,

22nd to 28th August 2021

We need to carry on together to resist the anti-indigneous agenda on the National Congress and against the Time Frame, which is expected to be voted on the Supreme Court on 25th August

We make this calling during the pandemic because we can remain in silence. May the country listen to its natives. We are going to Brasilia vaccinated, with all hygienic measures against covid-19, playing our marakas to guarantee indigenous people’s rights.

Manifest of the first Brazilian women
Those originating from the land: the mother of Brazil is indigenous

We, Indigenous Women, are also the Earth, because the Earth is made in us. Through the strength of the song, we connect in all corners, where the charms that are our ancestors are present. The Earth is sister, daughter, aunt, mother, grandmother, uterus, food, healing for the world.
